Cortex Recordings celebrates the return of the very talented Delphunk for his second EP ‘Punch’ on the imprint! Title track ‘Punch’ is an excellent example of Delphunk’s dark but musical sound. The track is propelled by a powerful kick and sub bass combination with atmospheric synths giving the track its signature moody vibe. ‘Autobot’ is the artist’s second collaboration with label boss Tony Tyson after ‘One Day’ which was released earlier this year on Rebellious. The track has a bouncing - dare we say funky! - groove consisting of punchy drums, contrasting synths and a catchy vocal hook.
